Magic Johnson's Bluesband is our well-known band in the 2CV scene tonight.

Blues from Duisburg and the belly.
Since 1979, Congo Johnson (Manni Seidel) has repeatedly gathered musicians around him as "Magic Johnson's Bluesband". Even entire brass sections or female singers. The current Johnson family has been grooving together since 2003 and since 2014 also with drummer Lucky Johnson. 35 years of stage experience that can be heard.
Congo "Magic" Johnson Manni Seidel alias Congo Johnson has also played with international blues greats such as Eddie C. Campbell - a blues legend from the USA. His way of playing the blues guitar has been described as "magic". That says it all and explains the name of the band. Classics and self-made songs.
The repertoire includes blues classics known from B.B. King, Gary Moore and Albert Collins. There are also new interpretations of Summertime (Gershwin) or Route 66 and original compositions.
