Programme of the 10th International German 2CV Meeting in 2024

A special event is the swimming duck. Just like at the first Germany Meeting, we want to bring a 2CV onto the water again. For this purpose, we have been offered a white 2CV6, white, year 88, which was decommissioned in 2010 but - we have been assured - has by no means rusted away. Thanks to the donors who do not wish to be named.
 

The 2CV will be auctioned off on Saturday evening at the meeting for a social cause in the town of Gedern.

Nobody buys the ‘duck in a bag’ (modified German proverb), so it will be auctioned on

Thursday 01.08. in the morning to be viewed in detail
Thursday 01.08. in the afternoon spent on the water as our landmark
Saturday 03.08. taken off the water at noon/afternoon and be part of the vehicle exhibition (second chance to view!)
Saturday 03.08. in the evening, during the break between the two bands, the 2CV will be auctioned off.

If you are interested, please pack a little more ‘small change’ than usual. The duck can stay in the camping park afterwards, but should be picked up at some point, otherwise it will learn to fly...
 

19.00 hrs Opening of the 10th International Germany Meeting of the Friends of the 2CV by Mayor Mr. Guido Kempel of our host town Gedern
 

19.30 hrs - the 2CV comes from France, we start our programme with DUO D´Accords and French Chansons

21.30 - are Isabelle and is Hervé still in voice for a finale?

11.00 a.m. Tour visit to the Celtic Museum in Glauberg and to Stockheim to the model railway yard with various model railways and afternoon programme

20.00h Magic Johnson`s Bluesband already played in Dinslaken in 2018 and in Hinzweiler/Pfälzer Bergland in 2022 and rock them Gedern!
 

22.30h The music is off but we continue to party at the beer stand.

15.27h Dolly Parade: HELLO DOLLY all 2CV Dolly are invited to take part. 

17.00h Degustation carried out by the 2CV Club Eppelborn, the Citroen Clubs present themselves and their regions with local specialities.
